Set the render quality.

Use the Render Quality menu in the Tree Designer palette to adjust the render quality.

Due to the fact that detailed trees use a large number of polygons, Little Stick uses OpenGL for fast rendering. If you wish to use another renderer, such as a ray tracer, then you can export the model and textures of any tree and import them into another program.

Note that some ray tracers have trouble with small sticks except when set to the very highest quality settings.

To improve the memory usage and render speed of other renderers when using distant Little Stick trees: Save a picture of the tree in Little Stick with an alpha layer and use it as a texture on a single rectangular polygon in your scene.
